Precision irrigation, from soil to cloud

Hareth continuously monitors seven soil and environmental parameters through distributed IoT sensor nodes, processes data through edge AI, and automatically controls precision water delivery and nutrient dosing.

Edge Sensing

ESP32-S3 nodes read soil moisture, pH, salinity, temperature, humidity, TDS, and light every 60 seconds. Solar-powered with 72-hour offline buffer.

Local Intelligence

Raspberry Pi 5 with Hailo-8L NPU runs crop stress detection, anomaly identification, and evapotranspiration prediction locally. Your farm runs with or without internet.

Cloud Analytics

Firebase backend powers the dashboard, mobile app, ESG reporting, and long-term model retraining. Operational cost: approximately $5/month.

Evapotranspiration prediction

FAO Penman-Monteith equation with real-time weather integration from OpenWeatherMap and NASA POWER satellite data. Irrigation is scheduled proactively, canceling watering before predicted rain.

Crop stress early warning

1D CNN autoencoder detects anomalies 24-48 hours before visible symptoms. The system tells you something is wrong before your crops show it.

Salinity management

Real-time EC monitoring with automated leaching fraction calculation using the FAO/Rhoades formula. Prevents the salt accumulation cycle that degrades UAE soil.

Smart fertigation

Bayesian optimization calculates optimal NPK ratios per zone based on growth stage, soil pH, EC, moisture, and water quality. Reduces fertilizer waste while improving yield.

Offline-first operation

The entire AI pipeline runs locally on the Pi gateway. 72-hour sensor buffer on each node. Zero irrigation downtime during internet outages.

ESG and compliance

Automated water savings quantification, CO2e reduction using IPCC AR6 factors, and reports formatted for ADAFSA AD G.A.P. certification.
